Giorgio Armani Spring/Summer 2016 ready-to-wear collection – Milan Fashion Week

Il Re, Mr. Giorgio Armani, did it again! His Show, his collection was the best what we saw  on the Milan’s  catwalks during Milan Fashion Week. It  is  a Happening!
Giorgio Armani continued his 40th-anniversary festivities yesterday afternoon  ( 28.09.2015) with a press conference and lunch in honor of his new self-titled book of family photographs and personal remembrances. The book he said, answering questions from a large audience, gathered after his catwalk Spring Summer 16 show, inside the slick concrete lined Armani headquarters in Milan (to this day he proudly prefers to converse in his mother tongue, despite a global empire worth £5 billion), were “the pulses, the remembrances of my past,“ the designer elucidated. For those born in the 90ies, it is hard to comprehend what Armani brought to fashion 40 years ago. „I started my own revolution,“ he said. „A subtle one but also very strong. I changed the rules of fashion from the previous 20, 30 years,“ he continued. „I showed that you could wear a flat shoe with evening wear; I added softness to men’s clothes. And I envisaged that women could dress like men but with great femininity.“
And we saw this yesterday, during the Show.Elegant, chic daywear and evening dresses, . that was the Giorgio Armani spring/summer 2016 is about. That’s why Armani is still the best, that’s why we love him and his design.
All the elements that have made his name synonymous with discrete elegance were there in his show yesterday ( if you didn’t see the live Streaming, i advice to  find the full Show on youtube). There was a play on silhouette, the body softened, disguised and also revealed by cleverly juxtaposed fabrics, layered one over the other.  Such as ribbed organza trousers worn under suit jackets or silk dresses; a classic white work shirt was re-invented as a loose silk shirt dress, with billowing pockets worn over a sheer black silk slip. There was also a playful floral jumpsuit in bright vermillion, while crisp shorts or capacious trousers were matched with bolero jackets.
Gems cascaded down pretty party dresses, danced across bodices in red, pink, emerald and white crystal or were bunched together in sparkling orbs. Skirts were voluminous, and above the knee, in midnight blue organza, gathered and ruched at the waist. The customers will  again invest in his tailoring next summer. There was something for every women! Wear Armani , that what every woman are dreaming for.

Emporio Armani Fall/Winter 2015-2016 Collection – Runway *Looks* to fall in love!

Emporio Armani Fall/Winter 2015-2016 collection was shown in Milan Fashion Week,  on February 27, 2015.
A few words about collection:
Emporio Armani is classic Italian fashion in its purest form and this season was as smart, timeless and deadly serious as you’d expect. Overwhelmingly made up of office-appropriate separates, Armani played with subtle changes in silhouette as wide black leather frills wrapped around waists and over shoulders. Those same unfussy frills appeared at the end of sleeves, over hips and on the pockets of a fabulous two-tone fur coat.
Fur was used innovatively  on a skirt and jacket as a trim on what looked like purple silk petals, while shapes largely remained conservative. At the same time, there was a folkloric tinge to the floral appliqués on gray wool skirts, or a long quilted red coat, or a puff-sleeved dress that felt like a little girl’s look writ adult. The low-slung, wide-cut trousers had a Petrouchka feel. An artisanal knit subtext peaked with a couple of jumbo mohair sweaterdresses
That’s not to say this collection had no bite, details in red ran through the otherwise dark and muted palette lifting it into something a little more dangerous. . Shoes were secured at the ankle with thin straps or bound on with what looked like thick black ribbon and were wicked in the best possible way.

Runway *Looks* to love – Giorgio Armani womenswear Fall/Winter 2015 Collection

Giorgio Armani womenswear Fall/Winter 2015-2016 ready-to-wear Collection- Collection to love !
Elegant, chic, wearable! The King of Fashion -Mr. Giorgio Armani.
2 March,2015. Milan Fashion Week.
About Collection:
Tailored trousers – stalwarts of Armani, who began with menswear and pioneered power dressing for women in the eighties – dominated as always. This season they came in silk, slightly tapered and cropped to just above the ankle. The trousers were worn with high patent heels and soft jackets, some in black Velvet.
Other parts of the collection still felt right for the evening but demanded less of a stage. They could translate to a cocktail party, say, or a night at the theatre.
The tasteful and ageless wearable glamour of these designs was also implicit in other pieces. Models carried oversized clutch bags that could fit everything necessary for a night out while some had shawls slung over the shoulder.
Colours were mostly muted, ranging from slate grey to pea green, and there were heavily beaded three-quarter length jackets in pink, purple and pearly white.
Armani’s other influence, sportswear, was hinted at in sweaters cut to look like motocross jackets, wrap skirts worn over leggings and jackets patchworked from ponyskin. Overall, this was a collection that played up established brand tropes of evening elegance now familiar to Armani customers for 40 years!
I hope you will fall in love with this collection ( of course if it’s possible to fall in love with one collection?! With the Collections designed by Giorgio Armani is for sure possible,  more- there  is no way to not fall in love with this collection , see and decide by yourself! )

Menswear Spring/Summer 216 – Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci Collection . Paris Fashion Week.

Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci Menswear Spring/Summer 2016 collection. – The menswear season is all about the ladies.
Paris Fashion Week, June 26,2015.
This menswear season is all about the ladies. The trend had been slowly growing over the past few years, but now the tendency to weave womenswear pre-collections into menswear shows has exploded.
This shift has been an intriguing evolution of the fashion machine. The inclusion of women in the menswear presentations has helped to illustrate a clearer link between the two halves. It has also added a layer of complexity to the collections, particularly in what is shaping up to be an era of gender fluidity.
But there have also been times this season when the men’s better half got the better of them on the catwalk. And that was the case at the Givenchy show.
However, one could argue, the story that Riccardo Tisci wanted to tell with his women on Friday evening set himself apart from the rest. The see-through sexy lace dresses he sent down the runway were 11 haute couture creations.
So there they were – Naomi Campbell, Kendal Jenner, Joan Smalls,  Mariacarla Boscono and Frankie Rayder.
Back to the part of the Show dedicated to Menswear :
Raised Roman Catholic, Tisci is familiar with religious iconography and has employed it in collections past, though never to the level of his Spring offering, which included the visage of Christ emblazoned on tees, sweatshirts, trousers, and skirts.
The show also included plenty of denim looks with Americana undercurrents. This is on point with the House’s upcoming Denim line, set to launch in September. ( We must wait, i like denim, beautiful oversize silk blouse over the skinny Jeans and you have a glamorous casual Look, in any case is a street style which i preffer)
Here we are, Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci Menswear Spring/Summer 2016 Runway Looks and the Givenchy Haute Couture gowns. I choosed the Looks i like. Hope you like it.
