Altuzarra Spring/Summer 2016 collection – New York Fashion Week

Altuzarra Spring/Summer 2016 ready-to-wear collection designed by Joseph Altuzarra was shown on September 12,2015 in New York Fashion Week.
For inspiration, Altuzarra looked to his Basque heritage on his father’s side ,
„It was a lot about these pagan costumes that people around Europe wear during festivals and there was a whole section that was about these Basque costumes that they still wear at the festivals and that’s what started my thinking about Basque culture and my heritage.“  recounted Altuzarra backstage after his Show.
The interesting textures were the name of the game, from wrinkled and creased dresses to the elaborate mother of pearl-embellished dresses that appeared halfway through the Show.
Suiting and jumpsuits were looking approachable, crafted as they were out of wrinkled linens. As did the crêpe plissé skirts and dresses that came with strategic slits or sliding seductively off shoulders. And fitted knit tops that split apart at the sleeves to expose just a sliver of extra skin had an understated allure.

Hervé Léger Spring/Summer 2016 collection – New York Fashion Week

Herve Leger Spring/Summer 2016 ready-to-wear collection designed by Lubov Azria was shown on Septemeber 12 , 2015 in New York Fashion Week.
The brand celebrated its 30th anniversary show at the Skylight at Moynihan Station Saturday with no sign of the skin tight staple made from strips of stretchy fabric on the runway.
“This is probably the first time ever we are not using any bandages on the runway, but there is still the body-conscious silhouette,” says Lubov Azria, one of the designers behind the powerhouse fashion label she runs with husband Max Azria.
“We used full panels versus the bandages to evolve it and move it forward,” she adds, of fresh takes including bold patterns, ruffles, playful Aztec prints, fringe trims and sheer cutouts.
It is a surpise element  in Herve Leger collection : Sportswear pieces.“I don’t think we’ve ever done pants ever,” says Azria, of a pair of white wide flair bottoms.
“When people say, ‘I can’t wear Herve Leger ([because of how tight it is), this one you can wear,” says Azria, of the new Spring/Summer 2016 collection.
The collection is wearble, *one shoulder free* dresses, Ensembles Dresses-trousers seems to be popular also for next summer. Herve Leger Brand was shown us collection which looks sensual, feminine and seductive!

Givenchy Spring/Summer 2016 ready-to-wear collection designed by Riccardo Tisci -New York Fashion Week

Givenchy Spring/Summer 2016  ready-to-wear collection designed by chefdesigner Riccardo Tisci was shown  in New York Fashion Week. September 11 ,2015  18:30 local time.
Art director of the Show Marina Abramovic.
The Givenchy show gracefully paid its respects to September 11.The long-anticipated show began on Pier 26 just as the sun was setting, and the Memorial of Light commemorating the Twin Towers lit up in the Background.
Let us speak about this grandiose collection, 89 Looks  sent Tisci on runway! And all  his creations are glamorous, luxurios and all outfits are beautiful,  they are perfect.  Riccardo Tisci did it again, the best show till now, there is no doubt about it!!!!
If it’s still ready-to-wear  or a haute Couture  yet? I can’t answer, for me some pieces are definitely haute Couture. The Highlight, the most attendet Show in NYFW.
This year also marks 10 years of Tisci at Givenchy  and there was something of the retrospective in the first part of the show. It featured slinky, beautifully cut silk and lace slips worn with slouchy black trousers, and dressing gown-style coats in a colour palette of black and white, sometimes with bandage-style tops.
The different fashion Looks,ready-to-wear and haute couture, male and female, strength and fragility, the tailor’s discipline and the delicateness of lingerie all come together in a natural way in a collection which has the feel of a marriage of opposites. It involved top models with strong personalities chosen by Riccardo Tisci, such as Joan Smalls and Mariacarla Boscono, who showcased these pieces and underlined the human and sensual side of his style for Givenchy.

Jason Wu Spring/Summer 2016 collection – New York Fashion Week

Jason Wu was shown his Spring/Summer 2016 ready-to-wear collection in NYFW.
If you don’t know a lot of Jason Wu, if you have any doubt about this Brand, Jason Wu put his reminder on his show : GLAMOUR.
After last season’s minimalist moment, Jason Wu embraced feminine details for his spring-summer 2016 show presented during the second day of New York Fashion Week. The designer fully embraced ruffles on the runway in diverse ways. Folds and ruffles are wafted down from halter necks or cascaded out from the hips and hems .
From flouncy floral prints to strict leather and rich tones, the detail adorned many looks. Raffia-esque tunics and lace panel inserts on spaghetti-strap dresses or a louche tuxedo look.

*Ohne Titel* Spring/Summer 2016 collection – New York Fashion Week.

Ohne Titel Spring/Summer 2016 ready-to-wear collection designed by Alexa Adams and Flora Gill was shown in New York Fashion Week.
In Details:
The show opened up with all-white chiffon that seemed to float down the runway. A simple but sophisticated short-row knit dress in white and red was the transition piece before the next model stunned in a vividly red organza trench coat that soared behind her. The collection continued to throw curveballs with unexpectedly bold hues of magenta and Aqua.. A split shoulder dress in navy, green and black are certainly wearable. As usual, there were the technically advanced knits the house is known for.
