Oscar de la Renta Spring/Summer 2016 collection designed by Peter Copping – New York Fashion Week

Oscar de la Renta Spring/Summer 2016 ready-to-wear collection designed by Peter Copping was shown September 15,2015 in New York Fashion Week.
Maison Oscar de la Renta unveiled its second collection since the death of its founder with another beautiful display of hispanish-inspired elegance by british creative director Peter Copping.
It was a masterclass in timeless, classical elegance with suits, breathtaking ball gowns, cocktail dresses, skirts and blouses crafted into a long, slender silhouette suitable for women young and old alike. The designer paid homage to the house’s late founder with a runway show which explored hispanic style.
Copping made plentiful use of ruffles and lace. There were bold floral prints. Colors were crimson, black, white, green and splashes of orange and powerful red. Copping kept with De La Renta’s tradition of embroidery and luxe textiles while adding lingerie details for a more sensual touch. Tying into the Latin influence, the espadrille shoe made an appearance on the runway, updated with crystal and lace work.

It’s been a big week forZac Posen, first camehis Diffusion line presentation, after tahn debut collection for Brooks Brothers ans now,his signature  collection.
“Lightness defines the collection,” said designer in the program notes for his spring/summer 2016 show.
Over the years he has extensively proved his love for event dressing. .
But Zac Posen seems to soften in his new collection by working precisely on many basic tones – navy, white, black – for his outfits which he makes timeless. A suit falls to perfection, a dress playing with transparency effects, a long gown following the undulations of the body. It exudes a new purity, perfectly coinciding with the desire for lightness during the summer.

Givenchy Spring/Summer 2016 ready-to-wear collection designed by Riccardo Tisci -New York Fashion Week

Givenchy Spring/Summer 2016  ready-to-wear collection designed by chefdesigner Riccardo Tisci was shown  in New York Fashion Week. September 11 ,2015  18:30 local time.
Art director of the Show Marina Abramovic.
The Givenchy show gracefully paid its respects to September 11.The long-anticipated show began on Pier 26 just as the sun was setting, and the Memorial of Light commemorating the Twin Towers lit up in the Background.
Let us speak about this grandiose collection, 89 Looks  sent Tisci on runway! And all  his creations are glamorous, luxurios and all outfits are beautiful,  they are perfect.  Riccardo Tisci did it again, the best show till now, there is no doubt about it!!!!
If it’s still ready-to-wear  or a haute Couture  yet? I can’t answer, for me some pieces are definitely haute Couture. The Highlight, the most attendet Show in NYFW.
This year also marks 10 years of Tisci at Givenchy  and there was something of the retrospective in the first part of the show. It featured slinky, beautifully cut silk and lace slips worn with slouchy black trousers, and dressing gown-style coats in a colour palette of black and white, sometimes with bandage-style tops.
The different fashion Looks,ready-to-wear and haute couture, male and female, strength and fragility, the tailor’s discipline and the delicateness of lingerie all come together in a natural way in a collection which has the feel of a marriage of opposites. It involved top models with strong personalities chosen by Riccardo Tisci, such as Joan Smalls and Mariacarla Boscono, who showcased these pieces and underlined the human and sensual side of his style for Givenchy.
