Emilio Pucci Fall/Winter 2015-2016 collection – Zodiac collection by Peter Dundas
Emilio Pucci Fall/Winter 2015-2016 ready-to-wear collection- Zodiac collection designed by Peter Dundas, was shown in Milan Fashion Week, February 28,2015.
It was the final collection which Peter Dundas designed for Maison Pucci and it was a phenomenal exit! This was a stellar show from all angles, the room was packed, the front row was emotional, the casting was unbelievable and the procession of gold, red, velvet and printed illustration he presented came together in the kind of climax fashion week dreams are made of. Eva Herzigova, Natasha Poly, Karlie Kloss, Lily Donaldson and Joan Smalls were only a few of the topmodels walking for Dundas’ last Show in Maison Pucci.
The clothes were rich and romantic as usual but this girl was cooler and bolder than when in the floaty floral and burnt orange suede of last season. While the two opening looks felt immediately retro with their bold monochrome patterns and high glittering boots, the collection that followed wasn’t one that felt dominated by nostalgia. Velvet was made cool again on wide trousers and long coats and then at once became undone and glamorous on night sky navy mini-dress emblazoned with gold star-signs.
Peter Dundas is the new creativ director of *Roberto Cavalli* , in few weeks we will enjoy his first collection, exactly spring/summer 2016 womenswear ready-to-wear collection, which will launch in Milan Fashion Week!
I’ll keep you update!
Dolce&Gabbana Fall/Winter 2015-2016 collection – *Viva la Mamma!*
Dolce&Gabbana Fall/Winter 2015-2016 ready-to-wear collection was shown in Milan Fashion Week, March 1 ,2015.
Collection was titled „Viva la Mamma“ ,it is a tribute for all mothers around the world.
Dolce&Gabbana knows how to worship a woman with their exquisite creations embedded with luxury. They celebrated history, culture, family and love in their designs, playing with details and with opulent embellishments.
Yo know yet about the Show ( which was in Milan, on 1 March), for example that Bianca Balti emerged, heavily pregnant in a blush coloured shift. She received a round of applause (and it was very emotional moment i say! ) . Many models emerged, dressed in matching mother-daughter combinations and other slightly bewildered, but perfectly behaved kids. The roses were everywhere. Awesome!
About collection: the signature of Dolce & Gabbana is everywhere ,sicilian lace dresses, forties skirt suits, fit and flare coats. The red rose is the recurring motif, and, of course, it is a traditional black as a seductive background. The accessories are playing an important part in the complection of each statement. Stilettos made of velvet, lace or printed fabrics, all together with stunning embroidered mini bags. Even the jewellery and hair accessories, it seems that they are taking directly from mother’s jewellery box!

Donna Karan Fall/Winter 2015-2016 Collection – Trés chic runway Looks to fall in love
Round- Up :Donna Karan Fall/Winter 2015-2016 ready-to-wear collection was shown in New York Fashion Week, exactly on 16 February 2015.
I would like to be there, to see this great Show live, but our dreams offen coming not true…
The journalist who was there wrote about :
The New York skyline at night seductively shimmered and glistened as the background of today’s Donna Karan show. Donna has been dressing her New York woman for three decades now, compulsively so, and at a time when other designers are thinking globally you get the sense that for Donna it’s all about this city. Where else? She might travel and pick up treasures from around the world but she always comes home. So, today she went about dressing her from day into night, mirroring the city’s night colours – black, midnight blue, asphalt grey and glimmering gold.
Her proposed silhouette was long and layered but emphasised the waist by cinching it in with leather and obi belts as in a silk and metallic brocade tuxedo jacket over a crisp white shirt and a ribbon striped chiffon skirt. The most interesting suggestion was a multi-layered bustier (flannel, pinstripes, brocade and tulle) worn long over roomy trousers. If it sounds fussy it wasn’t. An alternative version had a cropped charcoal knit over handkerchief folds and a skirt with a high slit revealing a chiffon layer, but guess what? It was one piece, a dress. Feathers were embroidered on tailored coats, shirt and dress sleeves were billowing and an auburn leather aviator shearling jacket looked great over a pinstripe skirt as did a bronze waxed trench coat belted over a bodysuit. The embroidered organza dresses were dreamy and the image of a burnished gold lamé and felt tulle gown against that city backdrop was pretty unforgettable. Just like its City.
