Peter Dundas unveiled Roberto Cavalli fall/winter 2016-2017 collection during first day of Milan Fashion Week.Peter Dundas has always been fashion’s most committed translator of the louche world of the early-1970s rock’n-roll chick. And there were many luxuriuos looks on the runway-maxi coats, patchwork fur capes, skimpy lace dresses, platform boots and trailing lurex scarves.This collection is also seems to be the continuation of the look Dundas has carried over from his tenure at Emilio Pucci.Like many others designers this season, Dundas made a play for the long, transparent dress.But in Dundas Roberto Cavalli collection this year are many significant material upgrades such a tiger-stripe velvet, gold tissue lace, caviar beading, intarsia fur, baroque curliqued embroidery and all the shiny textured silks that went into tailoring the high-waisted, skinny, flared pant suits.

Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez  unveiled fall/winter 2016-2017 collection during NYFW.“It’s about control and release. Last season we were peeling away the layers, this season we were putting them back together again, sort of mending.”said Backstage  Hernandez backstage .  They achieved it a number of ways: via twisting and fastening tailored jackets and coats into snug hourglass shapes above hip-slung, full trousers, and via criss-crossing straps around the waist of clingy ribbed knit dresses. Most often they used lacing: up the front of a fine gauge sweater, cinching the sides of a classic jean jacket in red wool twill, holding together the lapels of a long blazer that looked as if it had been painted a pale yellow. A pair of tube dresses were bisected horizontally with laces loosely connecting top and bottom.The maritime-ish tailoring looked sharp. And the Knitwear- the dresses- were simply awesome!

 

 

 

 

 

Happy mood and a colorful looks on the #Jeremy Scott fashion show in NYFW

With his womenswear collection for fall/winter 2016-2017 season Jeremy Scott has given a few answers  or maybe advices for the for the Republican’s  campaign motto“Make Amerika great again“. Don’t  you Forget  that this is a presidential election year? ! Jeremy Scott not, his answers are following:  Denim. Electric guitars, Rhinestone cowboys. These rockabilly-inflected collection is a  tribute to American optimism, for example for all the wannabe stars who have made their way  armed only with their  dreams and the sense that nothing, here, is impossible.For American Dream. . The minidresses, reflective leathers,  motorcycle jackets , animal prints are projected the usual cartoonish club-kid tone, an attitude Scott doubled down on in looks heavily embellished with crystal and fringe.
