Jason Wu was shown his Spring/Summer 2016 ready-to-wear collection in NYFW.
If you don’t know a lot of Jason Wu, if you have any doubt about this Brand, Jason Wu put his reminder on his show : GLAMOUR.
After last season’s minimalist moment, Jason Wu embraced feminine details for his spring-summer 2016 show presented during the second day of New York Fashion Week. The designer fully embraced ruffles on the runway in diverse ways. Folds and ruffles are wafted down from halter necks or cascaded out from the hips and hems .
From flouncy floral prints to strict leather and rich tones, the detail adorned many looks. Raffia-esque tunics and lace panel inserts on spaghetti-strap dresses or a louche tuxedo look.
Ohne Titel Spring/Summer 2016 ready-to-wear collection designed by Alexa Adams and Flora Gill was shown in New York Fashion Week.
In Details:
The show opened up with all-white chiffon that seemed to float down the runway. A simple but sophisticated short-row knit dress in white and red was the transition piece before the next model stunned in a vividly red organza trench coat that soared behind her. The collection continued to throw curveballs with unexpectedly bold hues of magenta and Aqua.. A split shoulder dress in navy, green and black are certainly wearable. As usual, there were the technically advanced knits the house is known for.
Giambattista Valli was shown his ready-to-wear collection for Fall/Winter 2015-2016 in Paris Fashion Week, on 9 March 2015.
It is easy to imagine this day, Lee Radziwill – longtime muse and friend to Giambattista Valli, sat front row at his show – in many of the looks the designer showed today. Because of Giambattista Valli’s collections, it is alwayschic and elegant.
The bright and bold mixing of colors, floral patterns and sculptural flourishes were a shock to the senses.
The late ‘60s early/‘70s vibe of the show, with all its minidresses, tops and tunics worn with tailored slightly bell bottomed trousers, would look right at home on a modern-day Laugh-In.
“It is a continuation of the haute couture, where I wanted to have the trousers under the dresses,” said Valli after his show. “This is becoming more and more my signature. Before I was like all about dresses and now, you know, it’s the new thing.” And Giambattista Valli did it, you are sure remember his Haute Couture Collection for Fall/Winter 2015-2016 season which was shown in Paris Haute Couture Week ( if you didn’t see it you only Need to search it for example in archives of my blog or scrolling the categories, and you can see that both collections are very similar, i mean the ensembles such dresses and trousers)
So, back to ready-to-wear , i prefer back to *prêt-à-porter * collection , it’smore French, it’s more chic, it’s matching with collection! Of course the meaning is same, Name it ready-to-wear, name it prêt-à-porter or „bereit zum Tragen“! Giambattista Valli F/W 2015-2016 collections is chic, elegant and funny! It’s 70ies which we love to wear today!

Alberta Ferretti Fall/Winter 2015-2016 ready-to wear collection was shown in Milan Fashion Week, 25 February 2015
It seems that the Alberta Ferretti fall/winter 2015-2016 collection was inspired in the 16-17 centuries, taking into account the fashion rogues and those of high society. Even the handbags are tied purses in velvet with gorgeous embroidery and tassels in black, while the tight fitting trousers somehow reminded us of riding habits. The pinkish purple in a deep hue is utilized against a back backdrop for so many of the pieces, while the black chiffon swayed about the legs and came up to create a high turtleneck design, bringing the attention the beauty of the face and the features so naturally presented, the hair parted from the center and pulled back into a loose ponytail. The royal coloring thus created such a beautiful almost fairy-like appearance, the gradient hues appearing to catch the eye. White ruffled shirts are tucked into the purple trousers. The pieces with black lace Chiffon are adding a touch of demure flirtation to the collection. Chiffon combined with brocades, black laces matsching with the pretty wool pieces. Very stylish , very * Alberta Ferretti*. Perfect for fall and winter Saison!
