Jason Wu was shown his Spring/Summer 2016 ready-to-wear collection in NYFW.
If you don’t know a lot of Jason Wu, if you have any doubt about this Brand, Jason Wu put his reminder on his show : GLAMOUR.
After last season’s minimalist moment, Jason Wu embraced feminine details for his spring-summer 2016 show presented during the second day of New York Fashion Week. The designer fully embraced ruffles on the runway in diverse ways. Folds and ruffles are wafted down from halter necks or cascaded out from the hips and hems .
From flouncy floral prints to strict leather and rich tones, the detail adorned many looks. Raffia-esque tunics and lace panel inserts on spaghetti-strap dresses or a louche tuxedo look.

In Details:
The show opened up with all-white chiffon that seemed to float down the runway. A simple but sophisticated short-row knit dress in white and red was the transition piece before the next model stunned in a vividly red organza trench coat that soared behind her. The collection continued to throw curveballs with unexpectedly bold hues of magenta and Aqua.. A split shoulder dress in navy, green and black are certainly wearable. As usual, there were the technically advanced knits the house is known for.
