Donna Karan Fall/Winter 2015-2016 Collection – Trés chic runway Looks to fall in love

Round- Up :Donna Karan Fall/Winter 2015-2016 ready-to-wear collection was shown in New York Fashion Week, exactly on 16 February 2015.
I would like to be there, to see this great Show live, but our dreams offen coming not true…
The journalist who was there wrote about :
The New York skyline at night seductively shimmered and glistened as the background of today’s Donna Karan show. Donna has been dressing her New York woman for three decades now, compulsively so, and at a time when other designers are thinking globally you get the sense that for Donna it’s all about this city. Where else? She might travel and pick up treasures from around the world but she always comes home. So, today she went about dressing her from day into night, mirroring the city’s night colours – black, midnight blue, asphalt grey and glimmering gold.
Her proposed silhouette was long and layered but emphasised the waist by cinching it in with leather and obi belts as in a silk and metallic brocade tuxedo jacket over a crisp white shirt and a ribbon striped chiffon skirt. The most interesting suggestion was a multi-layered bustier (flannel, pinstripes, brocade and tulle) worn long over roomy trousers. If it sounds fussy it wasn’t. An alternative version had a cropped charcoal knit over handkerchief folds and a skirt with a high slit revealing a chiffon layer, but guess what? It was one piece, a dress. Feathers were embroidered on tailored coats, shirt and dress sleeves were billowing and an auburn leather aviator shearling jacket looked great over a pinstripe skirt as did a bronze waxed trench coat belted over a bodysuit. The embroidered organza dresses were dreamy and the image of a burnished gold lamé and felt tulle gown against that city backdrop was pretty unforgettable. Just like its City.
Every woman around the world which can and will wear outfits from Donna Karan’s latest collection will feel herself as a glamorous Diva!

Marc by Marc Jacobs Fall/Winter 2015-2016 Collection – Runway Looks to fall in love!

Round-Up :   Marc by Marc Jacobs-„second line“-of Marc Jacobs Brand . Luella Bartley and Katie Hillier  are the creative Designers of the Marc by Marc Jacobs Brand. The Collection was shown in New York Fashion Week , Ferbuary 17,2015.
Marc by Marc Jacobs is the diffusion line for carrying high end items by the top designer at more affordable pricing. The 51-year-old designer is known for his impeccable style when it comes to creating the best in fashion, but sometimes does take things to a whole new level that we might not immediately understand. Now, Luella Bartley and Katie Hillier design for the youthful brand of Mr. Jacobs and they do stick to the brand’s aesthetic and exuberant attitude, bringing cool designs that we want to own right away.
We already know that fashion can be used to spread messages, though in a more unconventional manner, and it appears that this time around some of the Marc by Marc Jacobs pieces have slogans or words that inspire thought, particularly the word “solidarity” appearing on the side of pretty blue green and brown patterned pair of leggings or “choice” on the waistband of a long maxi skirt. Words appear on scarves, on strangely layered dresses that started off the show on the football field and on the arms of the pieces that were shown off in the first batch of the fashion line. The whole line seemed to resonate with pieces that signified different revolutionary movements over the years, from the hobble skirts of the suffragette to the berets of the rioting Parisians of the1960s.

Beyoncé covers Vogue’s biggest issue of the year! Of the Cover shoot the Diva wears Marc Jacobs.
The 33-year-old Superstar looks stunning on the cover wearing a lace gown and a purple coat designed for her by Marc Jacobs. The image, shot by famous photographer Mario Testino, shows Beyoncé sporting a wet hairstyle as she stares down the lens with her usual fierceness. For the shooting Bey wears :gown designed by Stella McCartney,  Givenchy  jacket and gown from Louis Vuitton Maison, Atelier Versace gown and coat and gown from Marc Jacobs ( Cover shoot) Fashion Editor: Tonne Goodman;Hair: Kim Kimble ;Make-up: Francesca Tolot
„Just B,“ the cover line reads. „Beyoncé and the art of global domination.“
The cover, which is Beyoncé’s third for the fashion magazine, is also particularly monumental. It is the third time a black woman has been featured on her own, afterNaomi Campbell in 1989, and Halle Berry in 2010.
And fashion designers didn’t hesitate to weigh in on why Bey deserves such a coveted cover.
“The word diva is used for so many female performers, and it often means they have reputations for being difficult, but she exudes charm and a lovable quality,”  Marc Jacob ssaid about Bey.
“She’s the whole package: primal, rare, delicate, beautiful, and powerful,“ Stella McCartney”  says. „Her appeal crosses art forms, genders, and generations.”
“There is a magnetic presence to her,” Riccardo Tisci add.
